Why have a register?

The Parish Register is a record of those who live in the parish or who worship here. It has contact details needed by the priest for visiting and also information which helps us to produce statistics

 

What to do

There are two forms labelled HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD and FAMILY MEMBERS, copies of which can be downloaded below or obtained in church. The first of these should be completed in respect of every house where a Catholic lives. If more than one person lives there, all other members of the household should complete the other form. Please complete this form for all children. Fields that do not apply to you may be left blank.

 

If you know of Catholics in the area who do not attend church for any reason it would be very helpful if you could take forms to them and return them to church. It is very important that we know of all housebound parishioners.

  

Once completed please place the forms in the tray provided in church or send as e-mail attachments to office@stwilfridleeds.org.uk. If using print copies please staple or paper-clip together if there are several from the same address.

 

And afterwards …

There is little point in doing this if we do not keep the records up to date. Forms are available here or in church for this so whenever any of the details you have provided changes or there is something new to add please use one of the update forms to let us know. Alternatively you can pass a note to Wilf O’Neill or send an e-mail.

 

Data Protection Act

The information you provide will be stored on a secure computer system and held in complete confidence. Data will be used only for purposes of parish administration and will not be passed on to third parties.

PDF - print the form, fill it in and bring it to church (you will need Acrobat Reader which may be downloaded here if you do not already have it on your computer)
