Michael Taylor joined the parish after being married here in 1988 and was received into the Church in 1991. His children, Rachel and Matthew were both baptised here and both   served at the altar.

He became chairman of the Social Committee in 2002 following an outstanding ten year tenure by Paul Brennan.
